The Purpose of the custom field “Accounting project (icTime)” is to use timetracking handling and accounting functionality of a deviant project configuration. The issue will still belong to the original project as well as the worklogs created while working on that issue.

This field was introduced in icTime Version 5.8.7.0

How to add the custom field accounting project to your Jira Installation

  1. Add custom field to your installation: Use Jira Core functionality to add the custom field named “Accounting project (icTime) “ to your Jira Installation. You find this in Administration => Issues => Custom fields

  2. Add custom field to the field configuration where you want to use deviant projects for worklog handling in issues
