In general, we assume that you are managing installation of ictime via the Universal PlugIn Manager (UPM) of JIRA.

General information on managing JIRA plugins can be found here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Managing+JIRA%27s+Plugins.

Installation

In JIRA, go to

...

Either search for "ictime" and follow the instructions or upload the ictime .jar file if you have downloaded this file at another place.

Info

Please note that since version 2.0.4, ictime uses the Apache POI library to create the export files for reports. For this purpose, ictime bundles a current version (version 3.8) of this library. Should you use other plugins that also use this library, please check compatibility of your plugins with this version of the library before installing ictime. Usually, there should be no problems when using a newer version of the library, and there is also good backwards-compatibility. When installing other plugins using this library after having installed ictime, this might also up- or downgrade the library version. In this case, you might want to check if ictime export functionality still runs correctly..
