Implications of Deleting Issues in JIRA
If you delete an issue in JIRA, all work logs are deleted in JIRA, too. ictime does not change this behaviour; this implies that all JIRA behaviour. In fact, additional information for a work log from the ictime database is not deleted, but no longer accessible, as the work log is the base entity where all additional ictime information points to.

This means that As a side-effect, deleting an issue will cause all work logs of this issue to disappear from an invoice (invoice details and financial summary). So deleting an issue will modify an existing invoivce, which of course is not correct. This will be changed in the one of the next releases; we will then store a copy of all work logs that have been invoiced plus the financial summary directly with the invoice. |
