Delete Issues, Delete Work Logs
If you delete an issue in JIRA, all work logs are deleted. ictime does not change this behaviour; this implies that all additional information for a work log from the ictime database is not deleted, but no longer accessible. However, if a work log has been invoiced already, a copy is stored into the ictime database. This way, you do not loose work logs that have been charged already - but they can only be displayed as part of the invoice details and are not accessible via reports etc. When revoking an invoice that contains deleted work logs, the won't be restored but will finally disappear from the system.

This means that deleting an issue will cause all work logs of this issue to disappear from an invoice (invoice details and financial summary). This will be changed in the one of the next releases; we will then store a copy of all work logs that have been invoiced plus the financial summary directly with the invoice. |
